Beth Johnson Foundation launches new Centre for Intergenerational Practice website

 
The gathering interest in Intergenerational Practice, particularly in the context of the debates about Big Society, Intergenerational Solidarity and the need to promote generational connection has made accessing reliable information, evidence and resources on intergenerational practice essential.
 
The Beth Johnson Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its completely redesigned website today that provides an easy to navigate pathway to intergenerational work.  In addition to core information and resources, news items and events, and training the site links to national and international information in a way never offered before.

EMIL launches its innovative new website

Over the past few months, the EMIL (the European Map of Intergenerational Learning) programme has been working on the development of a European website to provide a knowledge base to support learning exchange, network development and the promotion of Intergenerational policy initiatives and practice.


Successful conclusion of the Mid-Life Project and launch of External Evaluation   Report

The project came to a very successful conclusion at the end of March and has achieved significant outcomes. As this was the third phase of our health check work it was important to fully evaluate what had been achieved particularly in terms of impact on those individuals who participated in the project. BJF was successful in securing funding from NHS Stoke-on-Trent for an external evaluation which was completed by Staffordshire University.
