Goverments Paper on Children's Centres

May 29, 2012

Last Friday, the government published a consultation document detailing its latest thinking on Children's Centres. Much of this initiative hinges on engagement with the wider community, with its particular reference to volunteering and to older people's groups. The Beth Johnson Foundation will be making its detailed response in due course. In the meantime, I encourage everybody involved in intergenerational work and/or volunteering to make the time to respond and state their views. Alternatively, if you would prefer that the Foundation speak on your behalf, please give any comments you may wish to have included, and I will incorporate them into our official reply.
