The MENON Network EEIG (www.menon.org), the United Nations Environment Programme, Vienna Office – Interim Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention (UNEP Vienna – ISCC; www.unep.at ), on behalf of the Big Foot Project partnership and the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS; www.acuns.org), are pleased to invite you to the conference ‘Intergenerational Learning and Innovation for Sustainable Development. Final Conference of the project “Big Foot. Crossing Generations, Crossing Mountains”, which will take place in Vienna (Austria) at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) from 5 to 6 June 2013.The conference will present the Big Foot project http://www.bigfoot-project.eu and https://www.facebook.com/BigFootProject) - devoted to intergenerational learning in European mountainous regions - developed in the framework of the European Union Lifelong Learning Programme and examine in a broader sense the potential of intergenerational learning as a way towards sustainable development.The programme includes high-level keynote speeches by Alan Hatton-Yeo, Chief Executive of the Beth-Johnson-Foundation, and Jan Dusik, Acting Director of UNEP's Regional Office for Europe.For full details on how to register and information about the conference click here
