Off Their Rockers Celebrates Everyone’s Future!

Posted in: News on June 24, 2013

Stars from ITV’s hit show Off Their Rockers topped off an amazing day of music, dance and performance at the Glanfa Stage of the Wales Millennium Centre to celebrate the first year of the Everyone’s Future project. Everyone’s Future is a Big Lottery funded, joint project between Vibe Experience and Age Concern Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan and aims to tackle negative stereotyping and challenge age discrimination amongst younger and older people. The event featured fantastic performances from Barry based dance company Motion Control, young singers and bands from Area 41 youth centre’s studio 41 Band night and rousing recitals from both Laura Bradshaw’s Community Choir and Autumn Sounds Older Persons Choir, and finished with a live Q & A with off Their Rockers Seb Craig and Rosemary Macvie. The event topped off a fantastic year for the project, with over 2000 older and younger people taking part in workshops across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, with the Everyone’s Future Working Group are now planning more events and workshops for the second year of the project. If you would like more information about the Everyone’s Future project or would like to join the Working Group, please contact Louise David, Age Equality Worker (Young People) on 01446 700622 or email
