Posted in: News on December 10, 2013

We were delighted to be joined on Friday 6 December by guests from a range of organisations (including Public Sector, Housing, Third Sector, Independents, Universities) to participate in our seminar: A life course approach to promoting positive ageing. This was our final dissemination event of the year and was based on the report of the same name produced by the Foundation in the summer which is available to download from our website hereIt was an interactive session led by Lynne Wealleans, Programme Lead (England) and facilitated by Janice Lovatt, Health Improvement Co-ordinator which included some lively discussions around such topics as the language around older people and ageing; media and cultural attitudes to ageing and about assumptions made on what we want/need when we are ageing (Facebook message from attendee Robin Wiles) Lynne’s presentation is available to view by downloading the PDF © below.
