The latest newsletter from DWP (download PDF below) talks about an important week in our calendar, Carers Week 9th-15th June and also Caring for someone with dementia. Both topics are important to us here at the Foundation and this week we are out and about recruiting volunteers for our project, Staffordshire Cancer Advocacy. This project involves giving help, advice and support to cancer sufferers and their carers to enable the cancer patient to concentrate on themselves and not have to worry about day to day problems in their lives.
