Age-friendly Stoke

September 22, 2015 by Lynne Wealleans

Older citizens of Stoke are helping the City Council to make Stoke on Trent ‘a great place to grow older’. Supported by the Beth Johnson Foundation, the Senior Think Tank come together monthly to identify the priorities for older people in the City and to develop ideas to improve the lives of older people. The Senior Think Tank are also working with local businesses to help them to become an Age-friendly Business  by taking a small number of actions; anything from planning how to support their older workers to ensuring that their premises are safe and accessible for older people.

If you would like to get involved as a member of the Senior Think Tank or if you would like more information on how being an Age-friendly employer is good for your business please contact
Lynne Wealleans at the Beth Johnson Foundation on 01782 844036 or e mail lynne.wealleans@bjf.org.uk.
