Positive About Mental Health
BJF are pleased to say that we are now signed up to the MINDFUL EMPLOYER Charter for Employers who are Positive About Mental Health. This means that we recognise the problems that people who have mental health issues may have experienced whilst seeking employment, we need to give appropriate support and going forward help them to work successfully in the future. Involvement in the Charter is voluntary, so shows a willingness of a business to work toward better practice and enables the support of other MINDFUL EMPLOYERS and supporting organisations to ensure we are all working together to be positive about mental health in the workplace..
Mental Health Awareness Training for line managers and other employees has long been recognised as a key factor in the health and wellbeing of the workforce. For more information about signing the Charter click here
