Vacancies! Healthy Generations
With funding from the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Programme, the Beth Johnson Foundation (BJF) is launching a community project in Stoke which will enable adults aged 50 and over to creatively explore how to improve their health and wellbeing.
We are a Health Literacy Friendly organisation, seeking ways to improve peoples’ access to the information they need to enable them to make positive decisions about improving their health. We think that digital technology has a role in this so we will, with the help of volunteers, deliver training that enables people to use the apps that are available to promote self-care.
We will also deliver positive ageing sessions for people to understand what they can do to protect their health and how they might manage existing conditions.
We are looking to set up a motivated and enthusiastic team who have an understanding of the health needs of local people and who have the skills and experience to initiate and drive this project forward.
The positions availabe are Project Co-ordinator and Outreach Worker (x2). To apply please click on the VACANCY tab on the Home page where you will find full details and Application pack.
