Dementia Advocacy Blogs & Films!

November 25, 2020

The Dementia Advocacy Project currently covers Stoke and North Staffs offering a free service to people aged 50 plus with a diagnosis of dementia or awaiting their diagnosis who have an issue. Issues are varied and often complex, examples of issues include all types of abuse, accommodation, family dynamics, challenging providers and many more.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to make face to face visits at present, we are still contacting those who need us though. Our weekly Dementia Advocacy Peer Support Group Zoom sessions are still well attended and the members enjoy keeping in touch with each other. The group are featured on our blog posts and currently have a short film, 'Do you know what it is like living with Dementia? which can be viewed on our main page HERE
