Healthy Generations

Healthy Generations National Lottery Community Fund until the end of 2021 and is free to anybody aged over 50 living in Stoke-on-Trent.
The project will involve both young and old in learning new ways to improve health and wellbeing. We will give help with using the internet to enjoy a great quality of life and to stay independent.
Beth Johnson believes that we all know ourselves best. The information and support people need to age well is important to us. We will give people more ways to find this out, make new friends and try new things.
We will run groups at the BJF Community Hub and groups across Stoke-on-Trent. It doesn’t matter if people don’t know how to use a computer or mobile phone. Volunteers will be on hand to help.
Healthy Generations groups will help people to:
  • Meet new people and make new friends;
  • Use technology to help people stay healthy and independent;
  • Try new things such as Tai Chi, art and relaxation exercises;
  • Find out about local services and activities where you live.
If you are interested in attending any Healthy Generations sessions or would like more information, we would love to hear from you.
