Future research

We have a number of research projects under development. These projects would welcome funding, partners, or anyone who would be interested in developing them. They include:

Gender differences in ageing

Based on our recent work on women’s experiences of ageing, we want to look further into gender and how it affects the experience of later life.

Loneliness and depression

Working with Keele University, we have been investigating the relationship between loneliness and depression in older people.

Workplace health in older workers

With the University of Salford, we have been working on research into the health of older workers in the workplace.

If you would like to get involved in any of these research projects, or support them financially, or if you have any research ideas you’d like to bring to us, we would love to hear from you. Contact:
