A collaboration between four local charities, ourselves, Father Hudson’s Care, MHA Communities North Staffordshire and the North Midlands LGBT Older People’s Group, culminated in a celebration event at Port Vale FC. With over two hundred visitors, including local organisations, the general public, volunteers, schools and funders. The event was a chance for people to find out more about what was available to them in the community and to engage with others they may not have met otherwise.
Singing, dancing, guitar playing, polymer clay modelling, art opportunities and lots more contributed to the day being a success.
We would like to say a special thank you to our volunteers and members who gave up their time to join us, they met people and talked about our work, signing up interested individuals to be a Friend of BJF. If you would like to become a friend of BJF, which means you are on our database and get to hear about our work, any sessions and events we are having and engaging with us, please contact us here
