BJF aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people as they age; developing focused schemes of work that enable individuals to manage, learn and grow through personal vulnerable times, maximising opportunities, and choices. Amongst other projects supporting bereaved older people, technological disadvantaged, cancer support, arts and creativity, and community engagement opportunities, the Foundation has supported older people with dementia for 25 years and has developed explicit expertise (both one to one dementia advocacy and group support) within this area. Although focussed on people aged 50+, inter-generational approaches are essential for good outcomes/ impacts across the age continuum and underpins the Foundation’s approach to its work.

We exist on charitable funding and donations, and every penny that we receive goes into the services and support that we provide to our local ageing communities. We want to thank Stowe Family Law LLP (Stoke on Trent office) for their kind donation to the Foundation. Thank you for thinking about the Beth Johnson Foundation.
