Statement from Sue Read, Chief Executive Officer, the Beth Johnson Foundation
I speak on behalf of the whole of the Foundation when I say how incredibly saddened we were to hear the news that Her Majesty The Queen had died.
The Queen dedicated her life to public service, and was a remarkable woman who showed impeccable leadership, genuine compassion, empathy and stability during her long reign. Indeed, many of us have never known a life without her presence.
Our heartfelt condolences are with the Royal Family at this difficult time.
As a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II, the Beth Johnson Foundation will be closed on Monday 19th September, as the Queen is finally laid to rest. We will open as usual on Tuesday 20th.
