We are saddened to hear about the death of our former CEO, Vera Ivers. One of the pioneers of Citizen Advocacy, publishing a book, Citizen Advocacy in action; Working with Older People: A Directory of People Interested in Intergenerational Approaches (2003). The need for Dementia Advocacy was identified, which began as a project at BJF in 1998 and remains one of our main projects today. Our condolences go to Vera’s family and we are proud that Vera was a part of our Foundation, which remains one of her legacies.
